The Expressive Arts Training Institute is a great place to realize your creative life potential and then take it out into the world! Whether you are seeking creative expression, personal growth, consciousness and healing, community to have fun with or professional training, EAT provides transformational experiences with the Expressive Arts.

Dr. Jane Goldberg, L.M.F.T., R.E.A.T. (Registered Expressive Arts TherapistPhoto of Jane) and The Expressive Arts Training Institute invite you to participate in the year-long Expressive Arts Therapy Training Program that has been presented throughout the United States and worldwide since 1986. This training provides an opportunity for creativity and healing, personal and professional growth, college credits, professional certification, and specific tools and techniques for immediate clinical application.The experiential retreat curriculum has been designed to meet the guidelines of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (I.E.A.T.A.). All graduates will receive National Certification when they successfully complete the year long process by monthly attendance ( in an 18 hr. week-end). It is up to the individual participant to determine for themselves if they wish to pursue certification and/or to become a member of this association. Neither is necessary to have the time of your life…creating with others

Trainings

Class meeting times are: Saturday Morning 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Saturday Afternoon 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., Saturday Evening Session 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Sunday Morning 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and Sunday Afternoon 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. A creative art/writing project and a short reflection paper will be required as homework to enhance and deepen the experience of the week-end and to prepare for the next Session. Readings and an extended Bibliography will be provided each week-end. However, it is up to the individual participant to determine whether to devote 2 or 10 hours during the month to complete these assignments.
